We met on line and I was unsure whether to turn up on our first date, but was so glad I did. Neither of us wanted the date to end and I knew right then that he was special and this was it!
We did it all the wrong way round which was typical us!
I asked if he would like a wedding show around at my dream venue and was shocked that he said yes! We both fell in love with it and a week later we booked our wedding! A few days after we picked my ring out together and he proposed in the jewellery shop in front of staff
Let’s Talk About The Dress And Your Journey …
I had a lovely experience trying on the beautiful dresses. I had the help of Kerrie guiding me through the choice and styles. When I tried on the dress I wore I just knew straight away it was “the one” it was like magic! I love looking at it now and how beautiful it is.
I wanted to look like a modern princess in her castle. I loved the detail of the lace design underneath and how it sparkled in the sun. I knew I wanted and nice sized trial to create the drama.
I felt like a million dollars! It was perfect no one had seen a dress quite like it before and I kept it a secret to all apart from my mum.
How Did Your Partner React When They Saw You In Your Dress …
WOW! Compliments galore! They all loved the dress and it’s unique design. My husband couldn’t hold back his emotions as I walked down the isle.
Where Was Your Venue And What Made You Choose The Venue …
We chose the beautiful Peckforton Castle in Cheshire for our wedding venue.
I loved the idea of the fairytale wedding. The hall where we had the ceremony was wonderful. The way the venue in surrounded by a Forrest and love the fact not many people I knew had heard about it so it was a first time for all my guests there.
Are There Any Special Memories You Would Like To Share From Your Special Day …
We had a Michael Jackson impersonator which everyone loved as that was a secret for the day.
We had a pianist and violinist playing us down the isle Along with a live singer during photos. I loved live music was continued throughout the day.
Even during the speeches my new husband broke into song!
Tell Us About Your Wedding Colour And Theme …
We had sage green, white and black. Everyone looked amazing.
We had a white isle with cherry blossom trees either side. I wanted it to look classic something that wouldn’t date but be breathtaking
How Did You Make Your Day Unique To Your Love Story …
Music we walked down the isle to was all special to us as represented parts of our journey together.
I planned a lot of it myself so poured my heart into it all to make it special and all come together
First Dance …
Etta James “At Last” we had our first dance choreographed which was just lovely even included a lift.
Honeymoon Heaven – Where Did You Go …
We went off to Lake District and stayed at the Lakes hotel and spa.
We had a fabulous time with amazing weather. We took boat rides and ate in lovely restaurants. Along with chilling in the spa with cocktails. It was the perfect way to end the dream
Perfect Planning – Can You Give Future Brides Any Tips For Planning The Big Day …
Don’t stress too much about little things people don’t even notice!
Go for everything you want as you only get one shot (hopefully) else you may regret not including things.
Enjoy the day and take time to just be alone with your new husband.
Relax and have fun everyone will have an amazing time.
