Tell Us How You Met and All About Your Proposal …

Rich and I met through my best friend. She got to know rich when she was a bridesmaid for a friend of hers and Rich was the Bestman. She got talking to him and it went from there.

We had just got the keys to our new home. We had bought our first house and we went to go look at the house first. We walked into our porch and I decided to get my head down in the gas box and take the meter reading. Only Rich was trying to get me to turn round and when I eventually did he was down on one knee.

I felt amazing.. I have a lot of body hang ups but I didn’t even feel it in this dress. I just loved every inch of it. It was the perfect dress and the one I had always imagined I’d wear.

I wanted to feel amazing and the best version of myself. I real princess for a day

I loved how special I was made to feel at my appointment. Everyone was so friendly and lovely.
I feel very privileged to have not only said yes to the dress but yes to a job.
To gain an amazing work family like I have is just amazing. I feel very lucky.

How Did Your Partner React When They Saw You In Your Dress …

He loved everything about my look on the day. He said I was like a true princess and it was very me 🙂

Where Was Your Venue And What Made You Choose The Venue …

I used to work at the venue Rowton Castle, for a very long time many years ago and I always knew I wanted to get married there. It’s a true fairytale venue and I know it’s run incredibly well by all the staff and the food and grounds are just amazing. It felt like going home, as many would say to me.

Are There Any Special Memories You Would Like To Share From Your Special Day …

We were overwhelmed by how amazing the weather was. We were so lucky to have 26c glorious sunshine all day. Considering this summer wasn’t the best and we planned our wedding to be mainly outside it was just perfect.
We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect day with all our family and friends.

Tell Us About Your Wedding Colour And Theme …

I have always loved the colour pink. I’m definitely a pink lady at heart. I wanted to have a nice dusky pink colour scheme and I’d say the theme was really just everything we loved and about us.

How Did You Make Your Day Unique To Your Love Story …

We loved that our children were there to witness our special day. They are our world so it felt so special and unique to have them there with us.

First Dance …

We chose “somewhere only we know” by Keane and we loved it. We decided to get everyone up joining us halfway through and we had a lovely moment enjoying the song with our children with us too.

Honeymoon Heaven – Where Did You Go …

We went on a cruise around the Med with Tui for a week. It was amazing we flew into Mallorca and sailed to Italy, then over to Ajaccio, then to Barcelona and then we were back at Mallorca to fly home. It was perfect.

Perfect Planning – Can You Give Future Brides Any Tips For Planning The Big Day …

To give yourself time to get everything done. The planning of it all is key. Everything has a time to be done by so make sure you organise it around suppliers, dates and when it is convenient with you.
Then for the day itself, take every moment to enjoy it. The day honestly goes by so so fast.
