We met almost fourteen years ago I was best friends with his sister and we had known each other for years and our relationship grew into something more.

The proposal was definitely something that suited my partner. He gave me a card for my birthday last year and on the front said ‘I guess we’re doing it then?’ Which is very much my partner.

Shropshire Country Brides was understanding and extremely helpful the first time I came to my appointment. I came with family members and friends and they all encouraged me to go for a very plain not very me dress, but that was the dress I chose.

I realised it wasn’t the correct dress and I went back on my own. I picked the correct dress, the dress that I knew I wanted and the dress I knew was my dream dress. SCB helped me and reassured me that it was the right dress.

My bridal style was very much a princess dress, which was everything that my bridal party and family didn’t want me to go for – my first dress was a very plain but beautiful neck and beautiful fit but just wasn’t a princess dress, my second dress was everything I anticipated and was a princess dress.

The dress on the day was everything I could imagine and more. The amount of compliments and comments on the dress. Even people that didn’t like the dress before stated that I made the correct decision in choosing the dress. This was a me dress and that was all I wanted.

He didn’t show a lot of emotion when I was walking down the aisle. I think he was trying to control his emotions but he absolutely loved the dress

Where Was Your Venue And What Made You Choose The Venue …

We had a few issues with our wedding venue. Our first wedding venue was a stones throw from our house, but 6 months before the wedding they closed down. So we found an alternative that was about an hour away from our house. But as everyone said on the wedding day it was a blessing in disguise, the venue was perfect and fitted us so well.
